Spec is 1s. Nothing a rx pack or booster can't fix. I run a Tekin in mine with a 180mah 2s lipo wired into the switch.

I just started to use the 1s ESC from turnigy. So far seems to work pretty too and its only $44.00

The GTB is a spare one that I had in my box. I have used it in 1cell 13.5 WGT, 1cell 21.5 legends and works fine without a receiver pack. I do have a receiver pack just in case and a spare Impact esc.

What body are you running?

i was running the gt 86 body.i'm going out tomorrow and i'll try 198mm and see how it does through the sweeper.at 200mm and half sauce it handle just fine but also i was comparing it to my old top rebel and speedmerchant wgt.

That rear pod conversion is fairly costly at $80; so, you might want to consider buying a full SE kit and selling off one of your LE chassis. That is what I initially did to upgrade. Gave me a fresh restart with all new parts.

But, I still have one LE chassis (with the old rear pod) because it is still darn good on asphalt tracks.

Ran the SE in the 13.5 WGT class today on asphalt. Car was every where. I may have been a combination of a really tight diff and stiff rear end. Changed out center spring from red to blue and loosen up the diff. It settled down until I hit a pipe head on and my steering was messed up. Right side screw loosen up on the servo and eventually fell out. Good thing I double sided the servo also but it still moved enough so the steering was not consistent. Fixed everything for the main and the car ran great, just ended more power and track time on the car. This car can really turn. I am really going to enjoy this car in Spec 17.5GT class.

Stellar report for the WGT effort on asphalt. You have some crazy fast WGT guys in Florida; so, learn what you can.

I'm pointing him in the right direction. And there are some really fast WGT guys here in Florida- thanks for the complements. Most of the guys are running CRC down here except one guy is running something you would not believe and it is very competive (Hobby King-with alterations).

Probably, something like...
- Club racing 54mm
- Going faster 53mm
- Big meets 52mm

Bill
Have you got an optional height spacers (front end)?
With height spacers 3mm: I can't use 53/52mm

Here's a video of our main. I think were 5 CRC cars 2 LE and 3 SE. My car is the lighter red car. We were all chasing the Purple/Yellow car that BullFrog mentioned.

So which is the better body to run on the SE. I'm running a Sofia right now. Been thinking about the CRC WGT body.
