Have you tried the new Protoform P905B? After this weekend depending how the 3.5 runs in 200mm mode, I am considering picking up the extension kit for my kit to bring it out to 233mm and picking up the P905B. But it all depends how the car handles this weekend.

Personally I donīt have the 905. It may be a good Pro10 body but the gas bodies are a different animal.

Just finished building this car. Interesting to note that there are 21 carbon fiber parts ! My Cyclone has 6 ! No complaints. The parts are nicely cut and fit together well. The car has ajustability to the extreme. Haven't run the car yet.

I counted 22.

23 with the graphite axle.

Thank you for the nice words. We hope you enjoy your Gen-X 10.

TeamCRC...... Can we get a pic or two of the electronics layouts from the cars ran at IIC ?

Also, what tires are you club racing with ?

What gear ratio did you run with the 13.5 at the IIC ?

Any idea when the shortages of this kit will end??? I was planning on getting one on the 30th(was pretty damned excited too!), but now my LHS says they're back ordered till late Oct.

And the only online places that have it in stock are overpricing it.

CRC, any idea when the car will be more availble?

A little update on my kit. Some of you know that i have been running at an all nitro track since the class has not taken off here in L.A. I have been running a 17.5 novak and have tried the Saleen, Corvette and protoform Lola at this track. Lola is my first pick for speed. Problem 17.5 is way to slow around the nitro guys. So I just dropped a 3.5 and new lola body. Here are a couple of pics. I'll try to have some video this weekend after I get back from the track.

Before with 17.5

After on Steriods 3.5r Novak

Looks like its going to take a while to get into this class since the car is out of stock everywhere.

Looking like another couple weeks before my LHS will be able to get ahold of one. This is going to make like 3 out of the last 4 kits I've tried to buy in R/C, unavailible when I've tried to buy them. With the only exception being my TA05 IFS-R.

Whats up with R/C man, why can't companies keep their kits supplied these days? It always seems to be something...graphite outsourcing problem, aluminum outsourcing problem, underestimating demand.

I thought I had waited long enough after its release to buy this kit so I wouldn't have to worry about this.

Man, I hate waiting...

Call this guy. He still had them in stock as of a day or so ago, and service is great.

I'd keep an eye on the battery both for runtime and heat running it on a 3.5.
