The idea of a dust cover is good in theory but doesn't work well in outdoor application imo. I used it a few races / practise rounds but the diff would get gritty sooner then without the cover. It seems the sand / dust that gets into the cover can't get out anymore and it gets packed with dirt.

have you tried your car yet? or looking for speed parts still?

my experience racing 235mm for the 1 summer... that part would be ripped off!

Do you have the Mardave MiniStox over there?
A full width bumper fitted with spacers from the X plate should help protect your spur and wheels from rear impact.
Not sure how much it would affect handling, but then you say you dont plan to race your car yet?

I've been running the LE for a few weeks now and love it. What are the pros and cons to running the battery sideways? I see the guys running the BMI CH all run it this way and am curious. I run it this way on my 1/12 car and now see everyone saying inline is better on those cars. I'm not a hardcore onroad guy but I do race once a week in between off road races for a change of pace. Very confused.

Thumbs up

Just wanted to share some of my pictures with the Servo Mod.

Had to make some changes to the Servo Mount Plate (Medium Width)
As im using a Spektrum S6070 Digital Low Profile Surface Servo (SPMSS6070) I had to drill a new hole to make this servo work on this Servo Mount Plate. These low profile servos seem to be 1/8 of a inch wider then your standards servos. See picture below of the changes I made.

But here is the end result.. Some pictures dont look to great!

Still need to clean up some of the wires around the car, but its going in the right direction. Hopefully get to test it tomorrow at our local track.

what servo mounts are you using?

also purchase a 12th scale servo saver so you can flatten out your turnbuckles
