Yep, I am using shorter king pins and love this setup. Only I think was using bad ones because one broke...

This season my club will allow setup with 1S and 10.5T motor. That is why I am changing to LE. I think that 1S and LE will help for tires to last longer . Or I am doing wrong assumption?
For the Encore shock, try TeamCRC.com

Kingpins will bend, and even break, given the proper angle in a collision.

A 1s car, when properly set-up, should definitely wear less tire than a 2s set-up, just based on weight alone.....

Default New WGT Flat Steering Servo Option

At the IIC, I had my servo mounted flat and backwards (placed between the front suspension arms under the front brace) using self-modified CRC parts. Upon arrival at the race, Frank C gave me the new wider Front End Plates they had developed in with the servo in the same position (but a heck of a lot more elegantly done...LOL) .

This layout really cleans up the car layout and lowering the servo seems to be a positive measure against traction rolling in high bite conditions. Both Frank and Dumper used this mod in Expert WGT for the whole IIC.

Good option. The lower servo right on top of the axle should give better front traction, and it's easier to fit a standard servo ....

Default misc advise on building a new LE

In the next day or so I'll finally be back in the world of RC racing after 12 years of withdrawal. Starting all over from scratch! For my LE on carpet, would the JR 3650 be a good servo? or? Also, any recommendations on a certain brand of diff lube? I'll keep my questions brief for now........

Wanted to say thanks for all the postings on this crc thread because I have already learned tons: (slapmaster diff bearning kit) as well as other useful tips.

More questions to come....especially once I begin building and get that deer in headlights look !

The 3650 is an awesome servo for this car.

The stock diff lube works great.

Any questions, feel free to ask!

Soak them in "Apple Pie". They will never bend again.
