Hi folks,
I just got myself a gen x10 pro, I trying to find different shock springs to play with, but it seems like none existence. Mostly springs for encore shocks.
Where can I find springs for the gen x10 pro?

Also, is there a shock rebuilt kit for the gen x10 pro?
Like to get one for spare as well. just incase they go extinct.

The original gen x 10 uses the shock from Losi JRXSR. LosiPartsHouse & Horizon have them in stock

You could use springs from any touring cars. Thatīs the same size. We like longer springs more as the ones from AE, Xray or Tamiya.

that's probably a better idea. JRXSR springs are all the same colour so you need to mark them to differentiate them (the stupid stickers just fall off after a while). Spent way too much time trying to sort mine out a few weeks ago doing the squeeze comparison and measuring wire thickness. Great fun

Any other manufacturers make 16 x 3/32" ball spur gears that fit the gen x? or do most of you just use CRC spurs??

Very cool

Will it be modelled after the CLK LM or the AMG GT3?? I would assume GT3, front engine Merc to go along with the Sophia, 599 & DB9. LM would diversify the class though, which I'm all for. Either way, it's going to be good for World GT.

Did notice that a body must be released to the public 6 months before the Cleveland Champs to be used in that race which is too bad, would have been a great venue to release a new body.

I had JR servo with plastic gears in the past and no problem but now with metal gears all seem to tight or wrong spline.
Per the Kimbrough website, the KO, Airtronics, JR Servo Saver are all 23 Spline Drive.

That for some reason is typical for several of my servos. I set them all to 0 to start and for some reason they never line up straight up or down?

Because there are two sets of splines with different tooth counts in that insert, you need to keep removing the insert from the servo saver and turning it one tooth at a time until you find that perfect spot where it all lines up.

Think about it...something like 21/23/25 teeth on the inside (depending on servo brand) and maybe 31 on the outside. The different variations of positions are vast.

A hassle; but, worth it.

And having your servo output shaft dead center in the car is important...

ok here you go. again, this was a very rough prototype. it had no cut or window lines. and needed some work for fitting.

Nice

It's going to really stand out from the DB9 & Sophia with the raised hood section and the arched pillars. I like the flowing curved lines. The final version will be "Off the Hook" as the youngsters like to say

Holy crap that is nice! Can't wait for that to be released. Let's hope it handles like the Sophia or better!

The 6 month rule could be amended if the body were released soon enough. One WGT body in particular, doesn't really meet the "Golden Rule" of WGT body legality, as it has NEVER been raced in a GT series anywhere in the world. So the addition of an actual race car shell would, at the very least, be considered by the Champs staff..........

I just wish Black Art would do an ALMS M3.............
