Hi Bill

Im running 1s 10.5 with battery fixed up front. Caster Im running shims all behind and 10 deg blocks so should give maximum entry. Rear Ive got green side springs and 50k oil in dampers.

Im running the front on wide setting with middle ackerman.
I had to stiffen it up to stop it from grip rolling but now when we run a tight track it struggles to turn in and change direction. I did soften the rear again a bit but then the roll comes back. We run lilac spec tyres.

Thanks

Sounds good.

Best servos are the KO PDS951-ICS or JR3650. JR is usually a tad cheaper.

I've got a question I am finishing putting my LE kit together and I was wondering what do you guys do with the ant. wire do you tuck it with all you other wires or do you run the ant tube? Any pics of your cars also for positions of electronics, wires.

Thanks

It's a great car, easy to set up and drive. WGT is a blast. No need for different compounds of tires, and the 13.5 is plenty fast indoors. plus plenty of help if needed.

With about 7" of antenna wire to deal with, i did about a 4.5" antenna tube that bends to the rear of the car about a third of the way up the tube.

ESC is behind battery pack. Li-fe pack is on left and receiver is on right. Both are about 1/4" ahead of the front of the side links. All side-to-side balancing done with these components and transponder. No additional weights required.

Well I got my car from another member here. It's setup for carpet, never ran carpet or a pan car so should be interesting. Need to save up for a Tekin esc and radio now and then i'm good to go.

Anyone run these outdoors with much success?

I ran my Gen-X 10 for the 2010 Asphalt Nats at NorCal Hobbies. The car was excellent; and, I believe the LE version will be even better...on asphalt. Already is on carpet. Trying to keep WGT going year around on carpet and asphalt in the Greater SF Bay Area.

Today, we had 14 WGT cars for a winter points series carpet race at NorCal...10 being CRCs. And not everyone was there.

My intent for this car was to run it outdoors, it's nice here 80% of the year.

Spec tires work great at Nor-Cal Hobbies and Speedworld. And I now understand that Ripon is good too. Go for it!

Didn't ask; but, I assume you are on carpet.

I almost always have red side springs and usually 30k oil in the damper tubes.

If you are grip (traction) rolling, I suggest you get your camber to somewhere below .75 neg degrees until that is under control. And then add camber to get some steering back; but, not enough that you start grip rolling again. You may end up with slightly different camber settings from side to side...no problem.

Cheers.

Bill
