There's a Serpent running at out track if you want to check it out. He pits back to back with me along the wall. I think he's been running a lead-barnacled Orion 3600 of late. I don't know if he's tried one of your plates, though.

Just wondering if the lipo plate affects the flex characteristics of the chassis in anyway? - less flex, no difference or little? (since it is locked into the battery slots - TC5 with ITF chassis)

It doesnt really lock into the battery slots. There is a little bit of play. So I would guess little difference in flex characteristic vs running a nimh pack in there.

The plate itself can flex some, the most rigid factor is the battery pack. The base plate itself will not influence chassis flex, in fact if you run it taped to the pack it will require less downward force then without to keep the battery in since the chassis slots keep pack from moving (much).

Just got this bad boy in my TRF416 I just finished putting together. (A bit of dremmel work as posted before.) I added a sticker that came out out very nice so I thought I would show it off. I am one of them slow guys that likes to look fast in the pits. I heard somewhere this sticker idea cuts off .1 sec a lap or something.

Nice job Travis. Seems to be working well in the 416 with the 2 small relief cuts on the back edge. I think your on the right "track" there....think fast and be fast, we're all somewhere between those 2.

The PPD plate combined with the Diggity designs lipo holder is a great combo. Unfortunatly the lipo holder does not hold the Orion 3600 in, so I bought their 4800 instead, now it works like a champ, no need to tape anything in.

Does the base plate go underneath the diggity designs lipo holder?? Anyone have any pictures of how ths is done. I have the diggity designs lipo holder on my car and just ordered the base plate.

Diggity holder goes above the PPD. You need to shim the holder with some washers.
