ROAR stock class winner out of stock for 5 years...
Hidden in the minutes from the last ROAR meeting. If you win the stock class at nationals you are out for 5 years. Sounds like ROAR is moving in the direction of having stock be for the intermediate guys/girls. That and the new "super stock" title.
Just found that interesting. I assume that is a new rule and not just a change?

its new.. working on wording clarification...
it'll be by discipline of racing and won't start until the 2008 champs are established for 2009 racing, more than likely.
I would love to see the exact wording of the new rule. I wonder how this will affect the "Pro" Stock drivers.
The minutes say:
Stock participation rules will change in 2008. Any stock class champion may not compete in a stock class national for up to five years. Also, any participant finishing in the top 20% of any modified national event in the year prior may not participate in any stock national class for the current year.

it'll effect the pro stock drivers by moving into Super Stock...

Then if they win Super Stock does the same thing apply to them moving on to Mod? Will Mod Factory drivers be able to race in the super stock class like they did with 19t?
