1479 looks like the G6. Moorespeed Stratus and Mazda 6 are ok... Foam classes could look like a IROC race with all the same bodies.... at least for now.

ROAR is looking to close this loop in very short order. Ruben, and the rest of the EXCOMM are working with the manufacturers to ensure the best intrests of the racers are taken care of.

Is it just me, or does every year there seem to be a question about body legality?

So I guess the rubber class will still run Mazda's and Speed6's, while the foam guys will be running DNA's and G6's. No Mohawks or Alpha's.

man this bites!!!!! I just got 2 bodies back from the painter for this race. A parma alpha and mohawk. And now to find out they're not going to be legal? Glad to see i've just thrown money down the drain for this race. And for the listing of legal bodies on the ROAR website???? It needs to be listed better with not just the manufacture and model number. It needs the name of the body on there as well. I spent an hour searching to find out what the bodies were that were legal and still never found out what the HPI bodies were. And if the body is no longer legal. Why even still have it on the page??? There's got to be better ways to get the information out there though. <---- AND THIS PART ISN'T JUST FOR ROAR BUT POINTED TO THE MANUFACTURES AS WELL. Protoform and Parma both knew about this for a year now and neither company told their consumers that these bodies were going to soon be illegal for use in some races. So now thanks to Parma's failure to do so. I just threw away $70 to my painter for club race bodies. ROAR and Dawn as it's leader are putting forth great efforts to make things better for R/C already this year. And i'm sorry everyone blames ROAR for everything that is wrong. But the manufactures are just as responsible for r/c racing not growing at a larger rate than it has. The manufactures need to come off their own agendas to work with ROAR and start making this hobby bigger.

I just checked the list and it looks like maybe it was updated as all the rubber bodies in question are legal. Mazda 6 Speed 6 DNA1-2 etc

And I'm seeing the Mohawk and the Alfa from Parma on there too.

I think you guys are all safe!

They're all on the list. But you have to look at the date their approval expires.

Ahh...I see. So I would assume both Parma and Protoform will do all they can along with ROAR to make sure all these bodies are made legal before the race. Otherwise it would be a disaster!

Can you see a mad dash for obsolete and lowly stocked bodies with about a month til the race...wow...yikes!! I'm sure that would hurt what should be an awesome race at an awesome place!
