ive been looking for a new body for my m03-m;
i am leaning toward the HPI Honda Civic Type R EK9 (#hpi7216)
ive read some threads here about a civic body fitting and thought it was this one,
but rc-mini lists it as being too narrow and any sites listing its dimensions state 225mm length and 190mm width?
so can anyone confirm or deny fitment?
pics maybe?

I run 5mm hexes on my car with the shell, the wheels look a bit neater in the arches and are less likely to catch the edge of the tyre.
Very popular shell in the UK. Good value. Seems quick on the track too.
Here's mine on my M-05...

I thought I read the width as 160mm somewhere, but I can't find it now.
Towerhobbies and a few others list 190 width with 225 wb and I knew it must be wrong.

What tyres are you guys running on the m05? I am running on medium grip carpet set up only for 4 hours a week. I currently run a m06 with sweep 25s all round and that seems to work well but wondered if they would work as well on the m05. I had an m05 a year ago and think I was using the SPUK tyres with glued edges on the front but they didn't last long.

Hey all, you know the screws that you used to attach the upper control arms on an M-04/04 to the rear uprights? Sort of a course threaded, self tapping set screw? I've got loads of these things.
I recall having some of those with the fine thread, like one would use to attach it to an aluminum upright, but I can't remember what they were from or how I got them. Well, I don't have any now and I'm looking. Any ideas where these might be found?

Sorry for the repost, but I was hoping to get a response from Tony Grey, Grandpa or one of the other knowledgeable folks on this thread. Reprinted from page 1076....
I found an interesting issue with my M 03 that I thought I would ask you wise-old-sages about. I recently disassembled my 03' to get it ready to race a carpet series (TQ Raceway). After I reassembled the car, I found that the rear camber seemed to be zero on the right, but was positive 1 degree on the left (Top of tire leaning out) using 2 degree Tamiya plastic
hubs. I replaced the "A" arms, upper fixed links, both hubs, hinge pins, pivot screws, ball studs and made sure the shocks were equal length with a digital caliper. At arms level the left side has 1 degree positive camber and zero degree on the right.
I have never noticed this before and nothing I do seems to correct it. I know a set of adjustable camber links will allow me to adjust it, but has anyone else noticed a difference from side to side? Are the parts molded slightly off?

I checked over all my cars and they're all fine, nothing like that degree of difference side to side. I'm actually not sure what to advise you to look at next. I can't imagine that an M03 chassis itself could be tweaked? Hmmmm...
