Maybe....we've got so many things we want to put on the site, it might make it there eventually...

None of us actually use the Quick release battery holder though I must admit. It's really just a pointless hop-up in a lot of respects.

$40? Ouch! I think you're shopping in the wrong place. My 3300 nimhs were about $30. In any case, the Venom 1800 NiCads are super cheap $13, and are actually a good pack. You can abuse 'em and they just take it.

No quick release? Ever since I got one, my batteries never slid out the side of my car. I kind of like them.

Default Pointless ???? BS

TFG, what are you saying, "pointless to have the quick release". I thought Mini Racing was all about looking good with bling, not how they go, thats what TC Racing is for

Naaah - that's just you Bob....

If Jims happy with the quick-release, I got no problem with that. I use 30c worth of rubber bands to make sure the batteries stay in!

I'm not allowed to use rubber bands ever since "the incident."

Only use the Venom 1800s if everyone else is. The voltage sux! We use them here but it's the only battery you are allowed to use so the racing stays close. Well at least on the starights.

If you want reasonably priced batteries checkout Pro-Match Racing.

Well I have to stress that this is a personal opinion only, but.....unless your local competition REQUIRES it... I would absolutely run Lipo only.

It was only 4 weeks ago that I threw out 6 packs of NiMH cells that were deader than dead...

From my perspective now - It's Lipo, or it's stay at home. I love em!

Some new bodyshells on their way from Blade Racing in Japan..

Merc A-160 (Zzzzzzzzzzz)
Honda SM-X (Somebody wake me up)
Nissan March (I've lost the will to live)

As you can no doubt gather, none of them thrill me all that much...

Those bodies look like a pour copy (home job almost) of what is already on the market
