actually, the bug body drove ok, i thought... the great thing is that it wont hardly roll over, and if it does, it always winds back up on its wheels. round for a reason!

I was at NorCal today and these guys were getting ready for the up coming TCS race this weekend. They looked pretty dialed. Goodluck guys.

The big question --- where can I get one of those caterpillar bodies? It just made my very short list....

Keep in mind that these minis all have black can motors for TCS regulations

The green one has a "special" black can? Looks faster than the other 2. Must be racenut123's. J/K

Sorry John my mistake. Only saw the green one shoot past the pink one on the back straight in that one vid.

Jeez...have I missed something? Someone update me where the black can and minis fit together under TCS regs. I'm only familiar with silver can for minis.

That said, those bad boys look like a HOOT to drive!

Anyone know if the caterpillar fits the M03? The description on rcmart says it doesn't fit the M03... is that true? If so, it's good thing I have that unbuilt M04M sitting in my closet.

Last time I ran the nationals out in Cali ( 2 years ago) we ran handout black can motors, I'm pretty sure that was not the only year they were used. Otherwise I don't think they are legal for the regular TCS races.

Personally I havent had good luck with them, IVe toasted two of them on hot days, and they don't seem to have as much torque as the silver cans. Since we run on a small indoor layout, the silver cans actually tend to be faster most days.
