Tamiya mini cooper
I know the HW 13t seems to be the most popular set up, but has anybody ever tried the Tacon 12t 2950?
http://www.hobbypartz.com/96m26-car-3650-2950.html
I have a feeling you would get quite a bit more bottom end out of the 540 tacon.
Do you still run a 20T pinion with the HW 13t?
I have seen a couple of vids with the 13T and they realy scoot
does the 35a HW esc get hot without a fan? not that there is not room to keep it on.

So I bought a used M05 and planned on making it look my real mini cooper s that I drive. However I did not realize the 2006 Mini Cooper S body is longer and I guess it is meant for the long M03L... http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=58400 Has anyone used this body on a M05? If so, how did you mount it because it already has holes in the body and I really didn't want to add more... Is there any different body posts that I can use? Thanks for your help.

Thank you very much! I didn't get a manual with the car so I will go to their website and download it now. I was starting to get bummed out I couldn't use that body! You made my day. - (this was the whole reason I got a M05... )

Quick question with hopefully a quick answer:
Are the M04 bodyposts the same position and an M05? ie: Will a body designed and drilled for an 04 fit an 05?
Cheers

M-04 posts are positioned differently. More like an M-06.

Why do you think they made a point of mentioning that it has a gear diff? New type of of gear diff or just taking advantage of the current hype? I'm hoping for new product.
