Default which Kimbrough servo saver ??

Hi there.
Which is the right which Kimbrough servo saver to use
Small, med, large,or heavy duty.

are the large too large??
the small too small ??

I've been using the Kimbrough large and/or heavy duty on my minis. You may have to drill your own holes, but they work worlds better than the Tamiya one.

Our local club is hosting a 6 hour mini Enduro, 90% are M05 and 10% M06

Anyone on here have any suggestions that has run in one before?
We are running Canadian TCS rules.

M03 use the large one but need to trim a bit of the edge off for clearance

M05 I am using the medium with the middle hole with no issues

It has probably been answered before but what is the difference between the Tamiya CVA Super Mini Shocks #50746 and the CVA Mini Shock Unit Set II #50519 ?

Witch is more desirable ?

Are you running in teams? Taking shifts?

Here's how we usually run a team: 3 guys. Driver, marshal, pit guy. We would run 5 minute shifts, so it was kind of like running heats, but with no gap between them. Each guy on the team rotated through each job, with the most important being the guy making sure all the batteries in the pits were charging.

Each driver on the team would run their own car. This reduced wear on individual cars and gave the pit guy a chance to do repairs while the car was in.

That's pretty much it. Not sure how others run them. There are probably examples out there where there's a single team car with rotating drivers, actual pit stops, etc.

Firefox,

The Tamiya CVA Super Mini Shocks #50746 are the ones to get. The others are to long and you will not be able to drop the car enough and still have any droop.

The best alternate is to get the Tamiya M Chassis TRF shocks or if you have normal TRF shocks add a 4mm spacer underneath the piston.

For springs if you get the Tamiya CVA super mini shocks then get the short TRF mini spring set PNo 84117 or the TC Short Spring Set PNo 42168.

I think you should have a good read of the rc mini net site, which will be able to answer the majority of your mini questions.

Another alternate is to get the 3Racing shocks, come in a packet of four and come in different lengths.

I refer to that site regularly and point others to it often.

So are the 53155 shocks pictured below the M chassis aluminum of which you speak ?

Do you have a part number for the TRF's ?

Are the TCS premounts #1016 the same compound as the tires that come with the M05? If not, what is the part # for the tires that come in the kit?

Depends if you're racing on a budget. We're a cheap bunch.

We set it up more like a relay, I guess. It works though. Always fun.
