Cool video guys. Although I would never do that to my minis.
m05ra - rally version of m chassis with swift body, they need to put oil dampers and longer spring in these rally kits. Better yet, put bearings and oil filled shocks in all non pro m chassis kits.
There's a reason Tony P and Tim are standing behind that big concrete pipe.
And yes, that red blur IS a mini (an M05 to be exact)
Check out the stupidity HERE

My M03M chassis with the Suzuki Swift super 1600 body has 55mm aluminum shocks installed and 1/10 full size wheels and tires on it. Its a lot higher then my regular M03, M03R even higher then my M04 chassis. I can even take it off road if I want to.
have you raced at TCS event before? I went to Trackside back in 2006, they had a rally class exhibition. It was pretty cool, only drawback was the kit tires didn't work too well on the dirt offroad track.

I'll bet those silver can motors didn't meet the 12,500 RPM limit

Maybe we need a new organization, PETM(People for the Ethical Treatment of Minis).

Here is what I mean about my M03M Suzuki on the left versus my M03 Mini on the right. I could even use 1/10 tamiya rally block tires on my M03M Suzuki Super 1600. I mean after all it is a rally car. Its just too bad that in my area there isn't any track that runs a rally class. I would be game.

3Racing speed tuned gear?
Hi guys.
There has opened a new racing class in my area, which is called FunnyRacing (because that’s what’s it's all about )
The rules state that you have to use a M-chassis car, and the 13T Ezrun motor (or silvercan or Sportstuned, but they are clearly at a disadvantage here). That’s pretty much the only restrictions there are.
In the first race (which I participated in) in became clear that foam tires was the way to go. The fastest guys use normal 1/10 foams, they make 60 mm in diameter (don't know the word for the process when you sandpaper the tires).
My brother and I drove on minifoams from Year-racing. We were very happy with handling and traction, but since the wheels are only 54 mm in diameter from the start, in means that we lose about 10% in top speed, compared to the others.
So on to my question (at last). Have any of you tried the new M05 speed tuned gears from 3Racing? Do they work, and can we also use them in our M03 and M04?
Mind you there are NO rules concerning modding the car, so it’s not illegal in our races to change parts on our cars, as long as the chassis still is a M-chassis from Tamiya.
Also I don't like the look of the big wheels, so I'm very keen to keep using the mini foam tires if possible.
Thanks for any replies
Peter

I use the 3Racing speed gears with great sucsess butninhave spent a lot of time perfecting them and checkimg for the gear mesh as the instructiojs are rubbish
My advice is that you check which holes line up best for which pinion as the first time i used them the mesh was bad and i destroyed it within 10 mins !!!

What pinionsize do you use? And do you use the smaller or the larger of the spurgears?
Thanks again.
