Cool Scooby Who

Scooby Horton - - You don't need help with anything you drive my friend ! but if you want to save a lot kash and be dialed get the Sweeps mini tires You won't be sorry ! That gos for any of you guys on the club level that has NO tire rules . The time you take putting a set of tires together you could get a great deal for half the price already glued and ready to go !

Good Luck Scooby !

Cool

Thats cool Kev and thats the cool thing about our club racing we can run any tire save us a lot of money each year . But when TCS stops by here twice a year in Md. we have to run their tires that cost 50 bucks a set , which ok but its nice that we can save a little kash at the club level . granted I can use the tire in both event , by then the A's are worn out . Thats why I said if your track runs No tire rule this is a Great deal ! and a lot of tracks around country have just that which helps the guys just starting out stay in this hobby !
thanks

me ...

<> And Scooby still dont need any speed secrets : )

i hear ya - we dont have a big enough following for the 2wd mini's up here and all the guys from NYC follow the TCS rules... plus it eliminates the 'tire du jour' problems

and yes, ain't no way scooby needs any speed secrets :lo:

Hey Guys,

Going to check out the TCS race on the 16th in Aliso Viejo. Does anyone have some tire tips?

Thanks,

Jeff

Most are using S-Grips. Inserts are all over the map from soft to medium. Very few are stuffing hard except for the SWB Minis.

If your hobby shop doesn't have them, you can order them online.

They are very good, & cheap if you buy just the tyres.
The tyres fit the Cross Rims perfectly, not so good a fit on 3Racing rims
With a 9T motor in the mini they last 2-3 months of wheels spinning madness. Previously Tamiya tyres lasted 2-3 sessions.
