Here are a couple of my past Mini Coopers. No problems at all with 60D tires.

+1 I ran mine that way for a long while - actually still do and my daughter will run my M03 in the same configuration when she's ready for TCS racing

Only 237mm wheelbase, but HPI's Citroen Saxo and Peugeot 106 woudl fit!

Hmmmm, ideas formulating... nah, sod it, I'll leave it a Mini (Swift).

Cheers Tony.
And on a similar track, how about turning everythng round to make the Xevo rear wheel drive?

I hate thinking when I'm in the bathtub.

It had to be MR setup then due to the suspension arm kick up angle.... After second thought, its open gear case layout make the gears venerable to debris if the gear case was located at the rear.

cause I would like to get the S800 on a M05.
but don't want to buy it if I can't race the body on it

sorry just think before there is a big stink at a event.
Hey Mike , We have a guy running an old S800 on his M-05 and its very cool !

Also, Tamiya is re-releasing the S800 for the M-05 ,so it will most likely be legal for the upcoming season.

You could be pulled back in !!!!!!!!!!!!! Seeya in Memphis !!!!

Up here in Canada we're still sticking to the FWD/RWD body rules, so we still can't use the new ones in TCS races..

very little dabs of contact cement. In some area's its called Rubber Cement. Just add a small amount and squeeze it, hold it together for a few seconds then let go. do this until the insert stays stuck on it's own.

On a side note:

Has anyone made any headway for setting up the M05?

We've been testing ours for a couple of weekends and they are starting to get fast.

Hey jim if you look about a page or two before this I asked the same question cause I am havin the same issues.... everyone basically says go with the CVD's, and oil shocks, maybe different spring combos etc.... just stick with me on this one we'll work through it together

as for you speed issues if you want do the stuff rick has done or buck up and go buy a new motor for xmas.... give me a call and I will let you know how to go about the little tip and see if we can squeek out a little more HP.... as for your arm.... I trying there might be one guy in town that has one... just tryin to get a hold of him

silvermag, if rear is chattering, try harder springs in the rear. high speed is about good batteries/esc/motor, try a lipo. assuming you are already using a 20T pinion.

found it. I am very similar I currently run 50wt front and 60wt oil rear. My car does push. I'm thinking the M05 likes to have the same oil front and back. This weekend I will run 50wt in all four shocks. and use springs to adjust for steering. Also I use S tires in the front and A's in the back on a high traction track.
