I just have some fun racing mini cooper in wet condition. Final is 3 x 15 minutes length, we all use tamiya sport tuned and gp3300 batts.

It was drizzling all day long, slipery and fun. Everyone insisted to continue racing despite the very wet condition

I've got lucky....., my rival #1 got problem with battery dumping at 14 minutes and rival #2 hit the wall so hard after 360 spins

"Slotmachine"

Paul, per your suggestion I removed one "O" ring from the front shocks and that helped even more with the chatter. Now it is completely gone. The car goes very smoothly through the corners with no loss of roll speed. All four tires stay on the carpet and it didn't traction roll.

So how about some suggestions on how to break in Mabuchi motors to make them fast

Thanks again for the help

Hey Steve, could I take a look at your mini (enter joke here) at the Novak race? I was thinking of doing the same thing to mine.

The car might be fast, but the driver's not

It's just looks fast because of the Hooters body.

Default TCS rules question

Hello everyone

I have a M03L, I would like to make it M03 by removing the chassis spacer and changing the body. During TCS can I use the M03L wheels or do I have to use the M03 wheels ?

Since you will be using an Mo3 body (the mini cooper), you must use the M03 size wheels to be TCS legal. But since the wheels for M03 and M03L are the same size, you are fine. What you can't do is convert a M04L (BMW Z3) to an M04M (Alfa Romeo, or Miata) and still use the big wheels of the M04L

Well if you can get a hold of Doc he has some stupid fast motors, thats where I got mine! If you can get a small enough set of needle nose pliers, you can turn the com on the moter to advance the timing.(Cheating) I guess you could try the water bath trick . 2 volts forever under water. I am going to try to paint my mini like THIS , I did the job on a pro stock Vette.
