Black Sports Tuned motor
Nimh batteries
Controlled Ride tyres

This event is an awesome event in a fantastic country. Keep your eyes open for more information
Nimh batteries????

Bugger. It was looking so promising.

Dont worry about the bloody rules! What you should be doing is working on how you are going to afford to shout me a trip to Thailand.
Spent a couple of weeks in B/kok in Sep/Oct and have got a taste for the lifestyle and nicest people on earth.

Terry

PS I will even bring my mini.

HI, I've been through 2 dameged Receivers without a reason..... Maybe is the Tamiya Speedy allowing too much volts for the RX, and "burn" them???

How's the easiest way to reduce the tension that flows to my Rx?? What do I haveto buy?? Thanks!!!

Hmmm, I suspect we got it wrong... That info was supplied by someone else a long time ago and to be honest I never really checked it!

Default traction roll

Hi guys, I swapped my ages-old black can with the 3000kv hobbywing combo. The added speed (my black can was really tired) started to cause some traction roll. I'm using Team Powers 36s on the front and 32s on the rear. I used to use blue/yellow springs back/front based on the basic setup on rc-mini.net. It worked for me very well until now.
I tried to swap the springs for white/blue which slightly improved the situation.
Can you please suggest other changes that I should try to get rid off the traction roll?
Thanks Marek

Also I'm still using NiMh batteries with the mini so the weight distribution should be the same as before (with the black can).

Do you have a voltmeter to measure the voltage on the red plug from the Tamiya esc?

A few guys at my club ran them this past weekend. What I can tell you is that on carpet, they stick very well. They have a very sharp shoulder on them that almost acts like the blade on an ice skate. It just digs into the carpet and the car flies around the corners.

This does come with the possible consequence of traction roll, but taking a little extra speed off, or steering VERY smoothly can resolve that.

I prefer a tire that allows a little side slip though. I think these may do that once that shoulder has worn down a bit, as they are a fairly hard compound.
