Default mini cooper m03r hopups

The m03-r comes with everything except: ta03 ball diff and universals. Also, the chrome chassis flakes like crazy. The clear shocks are neat.

Have fun with the mini.

Don't forget...it doesn't come with universals...which are always a plus to have...and I'd invest in those before a ball diff. I run about the same with the gear diff....and there's no real noticable performance difference with a properly shimmed gear diff.

I'll post it when I get home...

I think you got the last one... I'm not too fond of the "Race" body versus the original body, but what can you do... until ABC re-tools for a new classic mini... or until Tamiya re-stocks

The best? Not where I come from. Certainly down here their performance is very inconsistent.
Either way though the news of the confirmed death of X patterns is a sad thing.
Sucks about the X-patterns... I stockpiled several sets too luckily. The RPs worked awesome for me this summer, but they are very temperature sensitive just like the full size counterparts. Honestly, they were the pinnacle on asphault for me... insane levels of grip with lap times 3+ seconds faster than the top TCS-legal times. I found the Spice tires to be very close to RPs in asphault performance too. Both brands are very temperature specific though, & it's pretty much imperative to set the car up(M03) very stiff in the rear and keep the ESC & Rx buried in the chassis to eliminate the traction rolling.

I haven't had much luck with the RPs on carpet though... but I have only tried RP30s inside so far, & they are a bit too aggressive(car "skips" & has too much bite... without traction compound).

woo hoo! just got myself a M03M.

Question. Does the HPI Civic body fits??? some say the wheel base is good, but the servo mount is too high for this body. Can one confirm? a pix of the civic body on the car will be great.

Thanks!
