The majority of motors checked at the last 2 years TCS events have been between .8 and 1.1 amps
The most I have ever seen on a silver can is 1.15 amps and that motor was nothing special. I think last years TCS champion drew .9amps when checked if i remember.
The Peak and the Much More give the same readings

Then perhaps a better rule would be an rpm limit at 7 volts.
I know a more efficient motor will draw less amps.

Absolutely no way can you run in TCS....
Its a club-level car (maybe) only. We only did it to prove it could be done!

Can anyone tell me...is the ABC Datsun 510 body done representing the car with "bubble-type" fender flares as-raced by BRE, etc "in the day" or is it "flat-sided" as the street cars? I'm seriously looking at buying one, but at the prices they're going for I want to be certain I'm getting what I really want. It appears I'm already having to compromise on wheelbase...
Many thanks for any input,

Scott, I saw a 510 shell a long time back and from memory it had the squared off fender flares. I also note that its now listed as 'discontinued' on ABC's website...

Not necessary to do so. The car works fine as it is. Trying to get rid of all the slop doesnt really achieve anything and wastes a whole lot of time...
Don't bother.

apply super glue in the hole insert pin, remove pin, and clean up. David Jun suggested this on the old TA03
