The word concept is being used because it's exciting to nerds. It works. We're excited.

Can't wait for the M-08 Thingy.

I hope it is successful, but I remember the F-201 all too well.

looking at the manual,... what a nice refreshing design for a 'mini'.

It's definitely Tamiya, with some nice new features for a mini. I'm still mystified by the "stiffeners". Wondering why the chassis couldn't have been made stiffer on its own. Front suspension reminds me a little of a CC01. Glad to see upper links that will offer more adjustment options.

What I'm wondering about is ideal damper length. I suppose if the droop setup is better than the 05 V2, I'd just build them full length.

I'm relieved to see the 'clamshell' style chassis done away with.. also a 'normal' motor plate so you can really set your gearmesh is a nice change, all while still being limited on the range of gears.

Yeah, those stiffeners look like an excuse to use more screws more than anything. I think this thing beats the M05s record for screw count. They're probably supposed to be a tuning option but the manual doesn't say they're optional, so they're probably mandatory in rulesets that say build as per instructions.

The shock length issue looks weird. For the sake of 2mm, couldn't they just lower the shock tower slightly instead of require a longer shock? Seems weird that their premiere TC has smaller shocks than their mini. Also, the part number of the shock shaft for the M07 is the same as the M05 pro kits, so either the length isn't really any different or they used the wrong part number.

They will fit but the width will be changed slightly. Can't remember if it'll be slightly wider or narrower.

You could just get the standard F parts tree to use with the alloy parts you have to maintain the same width. Guys around here use them with the DCJ without any problems.
