good enough then, I'll stick with my regular packs ( 4200IB Worlds series! - might be a bit much for silver can racing, but I do like to have good cells)

Well in restricted motor classes like 540 Silver Can or Sport-Tuned the cells are THE most important thing of all.

Over here you either run 4200's or you're nowhere.... The newer 4200's have SO much more voltage that you have to run them.

Default shock length

I have read that you can reduce ride height (M03M) by shortening the standard shocks by adding 5mm of fuel tube or o rings to the shock shaft.

My question is if I do this do I then have to reduce the rubber tube on top of the shock by the same amount.

Thanks
Ross

That would be like THIS then Ross?....

I cant remember exactly because we did this so long ago. But from the looks of it the rubber tube looks standard length to me. I dont have a set of those shocks any more to check unfortunately.

Easy way to check, try it standard length first, and if it doesnt fit you can always trim it..

Default Whats up with that?

Ok, I go out and buy the M03M parts tree with the uprights the extention piece etc...

I go to install the uprights to night.. and my bearings from my M03 will not fit the rear hubs of the m03m... what is the deal there???

i was under the understanding that all bearings for all MO2-Mo3 Mo4 were the same?? Has something changed?

I dont have a MO3M manual.. can anyone tell me the bearing that is supposed to be in that upright??

James

Well there ya go..

So.. one more difference between the M03M and all older M Chassis cars.. The outdrive bearing sizes have changed.

All older cars run an 1150 .. and the new Mo3M runs a 1050

SO.. now I need 4 1050 bearings.. grrrr

Yep, the complete kit comes with bearings, but if you just buy parts trees like James did you still need to buy the extra bearings.....

Quite why they changed the bearing size on the rear uprights I dont know. The original toe-in uprights were fine as they were.
