Then your best bet is to get one of those old Kyosho FWD minis (they called them 12th scale) which are basically a 12th scale FWD (pan) car. That'll kill everything on the track with a 540 run of the mill silvercan.
Trick is to find one in the first place.
Ok, thanks!
I don't think i can find this car now
Thanks
Thanks
If you use the standard MO5 alloy knuckles on the MO5 V2 you need to remove some plastic from the top of the gearbox cover, otherwise the inside of the knuckle will hit the gearbox.

Oh yeah, forgot I've got the 3Racing uprights on mine. They're shaped same as the stock plastic pieces.

Thanks guys I had just ordered the std ones, I will see if the can swap them for the ra ones, I think they are narrower.. Is the alignment / geometry the same though for the rest of the upright?

The Standard ones work fine. They lightly graze the bulkhead but not enough to mess up the steering. I removed a lot of steering from the radio because the car turned so much. At that point, I was no where near hitting the chassis.

If anyone looking for Mini stuff, I am parting ways with all mine. I have an M03 fully optioned TCS regional winning car, an M05v2 fully optioned TCS regional winning car and also an M05 NIB.
I plan on posting in the Swap/Sell section this week but wanted to let the true mini followers know first. I also have a NIB M05. Please PM in anyone is interested.

You could try the 3Racing M05-05/LB. I'm using them and they work well. If you're running Tamiya rules the M05 rally uprights are 54253. The regular Tamiya part is 54177.
stella has the v2 back in stock, but for $148. Still cheaper than rcmart and the LHS, even with shipping.
what recommended upgrades are there?
