Usually? I think you mean ALWAYS.

Raman - part number 50736 TL01 B parts came with the original M03 and M04 kits and it was available in a reinforced/composite version, but I don't know the part number for the reinforced.

that was back before lipos, brushless system and m05's. seems like just yesterday.

i do however remember you forgetting to put the 1150 bearing in the front diff and me not knowing driving around with it missing, to realize half way through the Harris Classic that it wasnt there.

Does it look like the old motor plate would fit the new chassis? The difference in motor offset would be minimal and it would save a chunk of change. Very happy to see a shorty pack fitted. Looks great!

nice.
so the parts necessary for the conversion are the chassis, arms, and the motor plate?

better yet, how much motor clearance do we have for BL motors?

Hi all

So last night I stripped teeth from one spot on my spur gear after a crash that stopped the car in it's tracks.

So I'm about to replace the set with either the stock white gears or the reinforced ones.

I'm sure I read some bad stuff about the reinforced set but cant recall what it was? I run the 3 Racing gear diff if that's relevant with silvercan power.

And how are you (or not) lubing the gears?

Thanks to all that have already helped me on this, I thought I'd post on here so the 'wider market' can have an opinion too!

can someone explain why arms and motorplate are needed for converting to the new lipo chassis. Why not just the chassis ?
Thanks
