Already posted. Showing at Shizuoka in mid-May, release planned for June. Some of the Japanese hobby shops are taking pre-orders already.

What's everyone afraid of anyway, a little competition? If the M05 is so bad, then you'll all have the same car to deal with. The M05v.2 definitely looks promising.[/QUOTE]

Eric, in my case fear has nothing to do with it. Affection would be the more accurate term. I like the M03 for many reasons and don't have the same opinion of the 05. I just said that it would be like losing an old friend. That doesn't mean that I don't have some understanding of why you decided to ban the 03. After all, time marches on and I'm probably more aware of that than most.

Somehow, you've interpreted the term fiefdom to be derogatory. It was not intended that way. It was more meant as a description of my own impression of how the TCS hierarchy works. I won't bore you with the structure of a fiefdom, but it's very similar except no fees are paid and is benevolent in this case.

surely at some point in time you would know that tamiya would discontinue the M03 line up. its slowly only been heading that way the last few years as things become more and more less available.

Really im amazed that they have keep it in production for so long..

Surely, you don't think that we were all unaware this would happen. We knew and all of us have an 05 under development. I'm not protesting, complaining, or anything like that. Where anyone got that impression is beyond me. I'm merely lamenting the passing of an old friend.

Frankly, I was worried that it would happen sooner than this. As soon as the M03 kits were out of production, this was bound to happen.

Yes. I was there, mucking around in the B.

Check your shock length, travel, and weight bias are equal.

Normal for me which is why I never run the really heavy weights. Others seem to be able to cope with it.

300,000wt hasn't been an issue for me. Dial in more front toe out and see how you go.

We've got a few locals running 2M-2.5M. May as well pack it with heavy tar.

I was chatting with a friend on the weekend and he reckons he knows how the motor could be moved over 4.5mm. I'm still a little stumped on the droop screw thing, though. I could see it working based off the upper arms, but the lowers...still a mystery. I have ideas, but they're all clunky.
