I reckon you're talkin about the Chevron Monster Mini shells Bob.

Sadly not available in Australia at all. Ours came from Rainbow Ten in Japan.

I have a M04m. I was wondering if there is a good base setup or setups for the car? I was almost going to give up hope on it until I heard a rumor that the TCS nationals winner was the only one in the A with one.

I did check out rc-mini.net really cool stuff but does not have any info on the M04...

Also are the chassis extenders for the M03 the same as the M04? I do have a L body but cannot seem to find much info....

Thanks,

Coop

Its a pretty straight forward car to run, not too many adjustments.

Just start off with some good oil dampers, medium yellow springs all around, and good tires and see how the car handles. Do the usual motor and bearing maintenance to make sure the drivetrain is super free.

It's true. It's also way more fun to powerslide on linoleum with it.

Coop, we dont have much on M04's mainly because...umm they aren't terribly popular. We've got some ourselves but we only tried them a few times and they didnt really do it for us. And most clubs wont allow them anyway.

However, we're hoping that more people get them, and then talk to us, that way we can post some set-up stuff and other hints for them.
