Do you guys have excessive pinion / gear's wear & tear problem after using TA03 ball differential ?

My motor pinion become dull after 6 packs with mabuchi 540 motor ? Is this what you guys had experience too ?

I get the idea of using TA03 ball diff after reading mini article in tamiya usa and I'm confident that I built it right.

mini gear box's do wear. but after 6 packs! What size pinion are you using?
I use a gear diff (lightly oiled) and my mini keep's up with stock (27 turn) cars on my local track (small and technical).

Springs: Tamiya
Oil goes in the shocks, not on the Carpet
