You can:

1. Take out any internal spacers in the shock.
2. If your kit has the "V" parts tree (plastic parts for shocks), look for the longer lower shock end and use those.
3. Use touring length shock shafts. Put orings/spacers on the shaft outside the shocks to limit it from going too far in the shock body.

Hi,

I have on my M05 Rallye these springs:
9805921 Tamiya M04 front.
They are the weakest springs I know from Tamiya for the Mīs.
They give a real good Rally feeling and absorb every bump very well.
I was really surprised about the "offroad" potential of an M-Chassis.
By the way, they have a gold color.

BR,
Matthias

Team ABR makes a copy. Available at m-chassis or ask the store owner Tim K on this forum. You might find him quicker in the Australian M03 M05 thread

Did they just narrow the body and leave the wheel arches out, or did they actually make the wheel arches that much bigger? That thing is nuts!

Jim,

Chevron Models (click on RCcar body on left bar and scroll half way down) lists the width 170mm so its wider that most other bodies.

Anyone got idea how to properly rebuild the 3racing shocks for m03/m05 ?

mine leaks from top plastic mount bit.
I wonder if i can glue that plastic bit to metal threaded cap to stop it leaking.

Is tamiya own super mini CVA any better ? i like mine shocks to leak free.

Never had issues whatsoever with 3 Racing shocks. basically same construction as Tamiya TRF. Have you seated the bladder properly? Dont overfill the shock
