sway bars question

how many of you have embraced the use of the sway bar sets on the m03's.

(In trying to mount a set of bars there appears to be some issues in design and fit?)

John-
Best bet is to set up the car the way you like it to handle. Fact is, if you look at the top ten cars at any given TCS regional (or the Nats) they will all be very different- springs, ride height, tires, inserts, sway bars, diffs, etc. I've been just as fast with front only, rear only, both and no sway bars. So go figure. Matt Jarrett once told me that all he does is change the tires from time to time...and he's consistently one of the fastest Mini drivers on the East Coast. When I look at what I've spent on electronics and batteries and stuff for my ride and then look at his...well, it just makes me wonder when he spanks me so badly. These cars have hideous slop all over the place and don't really respond well to minor suspension changes like a sedan does.

Here's a pic of my M03m tear'n up the track at Hobby Town, Glen Burnie. The track is AWSOME!! You have to come see it for yourself. We usually have about 10 mini's or so every weekend. Come out and show us what you got

John, I know exactly where you're coming from. Some years my TOTAL R/C racing season consists of five or seven regionals and the TCS Nats. That's why I love Mini so much- set it up so you're comfortable with it and it's stable, then go out there and pitch it around. You gonna run an MO3 the end of July?
