Just wondering do you guys recommend getting the aluminum motor mount and the heat sink tubes for the M05 running silver can or is it more for looks?

Anyone know of a ride-height gauge that will slide under the front of a mini to the low point in the chassis? My normal touring gauge is angled too steeply and hits the bumper.

I bet this has been asked..but I can find the answer. Which (if any) of the HPI Cup Racer bodies will fit on the M05 SWB? Looking for body options.
Thanks
Thanks

You can use a hex L wrench to slide under the chassis. Use the flat to flat sides not point to point on the wrench for measuring. If you have a set of wrenches you can measure a range of ride heights.

Well here's something new on the Mini scene. The RF Concept from Yokomo. Yes folks it's FWD, and somewhere around Mini size. There are no specs on the Yokomo site so we cant say for sure what size the thing actually is.
It looks like it only takes the new 'shorty' Lipo packs and everything else mounts on the opposite side of the chassis.
The bodyshell is....ummm...different? Yeah, that's it.

I'll say it if you won't Tony. That bodyshell is FUGLY!
Ummm Yokomo....One of the reasons people like minis is because the body looks like something real. What is that supposed to be???? Something from Roger Rabbit???

3 Racing Oil Gear Diff
Who has tried the 3 Racing oil gear diff? What weight oil did you end up using? I'll be using it on tight high grip tracks.

Ever heard of 'Team Infinity Racing'? Neither had we, but they've added yet another entrant into the growing ranks of high-end FWD Mini kits with their new 'Hades' kit.
To save you asking/saying, yes it's obviously based on the FF03, so that can't be a bad thing for a start. And there's lots of carbon too!
The killer is the price - 319 GBP. That's $520 of my Aussie dollars and around $500 of Mr Obamas greenbacks.
Umm, I dont think they'll be rushing off the shelves at that price unfortunately...

p.s. rc-mini's big thanks to Darren Oakley for pointing this one out to us!

Meh. My money would be better spent buying an FF-03 and some hopups, or even a carbon chassis if it came down to it.
As an aside, here's a thought for all these exotic chassis mfrs: Market and sell product in NORTH FREAKING AMERICA!!! (breathe in) There are 360M plus of us just in Canada and the US. We're all fat and have disposable income and, believe it or not, we don't want to blow it all on postage.
My apologies for "yelling' but it seems everything I order comes out of the same post office in Hong Kong. Just once, I'd like to order something from a company marketing directly, not through a chain of resellers, to N. America. Canada, specifically, would be nice, but I realize that we just don't have the population density to justify it.
Rant complete.
EDIT: Please disregard the fact that I totally diregarded that it's a mini and not a TC sized chassis. I have no excuse other than having had a LOT of coffee today. Carry on.
