Finally...after people have been hassling us for about 2 years, we have the companion to our legendary 'M03 Race Setup' article with our all new 'M05 Race Setup' article.

Written by Multi-Title winning rc-mini driver Brad P (with extra contributions from Tim and Tony G) this story will spell out in plain and simple terms just what you need, and just what you don't.

Hey Gang,

I just chewed up another gear in the mini, the plastic gear that the pinion rides on. Today in my M05, last weekend in the kid's M03. Both gears are the same pattern... half the width of the teeth are gone on the side closest to the motor. I verified pinion alignment in both cars after the M03 incident last week, yet had the same problem in my M05. Both time the motor screws were still tight. Same exact problem in two different cars. What am I missing here?
Check the end play in your motor

I can't for the life of me work out why anyone would need replacement arms for an M05? I've never seen an m chassis lower arm break - ever!

Fluffy - the bodies you seek can be found here

I had some of the blade racing arms. Don't if they did any good besides making people scrutinize my car closely. They looked flash, too.

I've broken both of the rear arms on my m05 in a crash, the car did roll overs, alot of them....... the part that broke was the damper atttachment point, the screw broke loose, stripping the "threads" in the arm.
I now have one-piece arms installed..

Okay, I can agree Tamiya arms really don't break. I have only broken the shock mount on a Tamiya arm. This set comes with 2 spares shock mounts. I also will say it first THESE ARE NOT TCS LEGAL.

Oh well, plenty of you guys run 3Racing etc.. I love competition and personalization in this hobby. These arms look SWEET!!!

As long as they dont change any geometry, they have no performance advantage and its more bling factor which can be alot of fun to play with. I have a few pimped out cars, alot of blue bling, but none of them have any advantage over a totally stock black plastic mini, which ive proven lol.
