personally experience with AW greas over the gears, i would just get some new gears. that is unless you dont mind scrubbing them with a toothbrush and degreaser

Hey guys! Ive been racing my M05 inside my local hobby shop on there new carpet track for a couple months now and am loving it. I was wondering what your ride heights are? Mine is close to 12mm. I have a stock M05, and there are no shock adjustment holes and i cant figure out how to lower it. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks
I'm not sure how you can do it if you're running the bog standard M05 friction shocks as there's no easy way to do it with them.
You're gonna need to change shocks I'm afraid (unless someone else knows any better way?)
Anyone using those black gears on there cooper? I ordered a set because I was curious.. Wondering if they will last longer?
Thanks
Chris
Thanks

Fluffy, you need to get that sucker down a LOT more. We're talking in the region of 5-6 mm, so half what you're currently running. It'll transform your car.

You dont use shock tower adjustments to change ride height.
Read THIS (about halfway down) to show you how to change your shock length to drop the car down.

gruman28,
The Tamiya reinforced gear set works the same as the originals. Just black and should last longer. I have these fitted to my car and seems no different to me, they still have the same gear noise, even when using a little spray of silicon lube on them.
Later,
Calvin.

Thanks. I ordered a set of both. Does anyone know where I can order a set of spline outdrive cups? The ones that go through the diff (guess thats what they are called). I have a few different diffs I use and they all have the old splines on them. Mine are wore out.
Thanks
Chris

Does anybody know the part number for the Tamiya M05 adjustable camber links? I cant find them on tower hobbies
Find attached a Link to Tamiya USA website for Hopups for the MO5. I believe google can be your best friend.
