I called fastner express and you have to buy 50-75 screws at a time. am I talking to the wrong person there or is that just it?

Itchy, folks don't normally buy screws based on hex size ;>
The M3 button head uses a 2mm hex, I know that for certain.

Dwayne, it's going to take air shipping to get it you for Leth. Also, last I checked Speedtechrc sold pricey Ti screw sets.

looped, yep.

Yes, they are sold in bulk. I suppose selling them in bulk makes it financially worthwhile to them. For aluminum screws you are talking about 50 screws for $10. That is really cheap. Aluminum screws are very weak as compared to steel so it is good to have plenty of extras.

I also get bolts from http://www.racebolts.com/store/index.aspx

I chose to leave my lower inner hinge pin screws as steel (Xray T2). I've bent quite a few of those, so going Al is a guaranteed disaster. I also had my battery strap switched to Al screws, but in a head-on crash with heavy track borders I sheared a lower countersunk one. Other than that, I haven't broken any others.

The M3 countersunk screw also uses a 2mm hex.
