OMG ...they are different from what the rest of the world got

why there's a need to create a separate thread is....

it is actually quite different, if you have a look at the pictures with the shocks, the shock adjustable collar has a different shade of blue..

That's because the anodizing has lead in it in China.

Its because tamiya gave the parts that have failed QC for the china market....

"ALL" made in China? Get your facts right. For your info, TRF 416 is made in Japan

Probably "packaged" in Japan with the parts made in Malaysia, Phillipines and China where most of the Tamiya parts come from now.

That's scary, how could you know what version could be on the shop?
I will not try to online ordering TRF416 kit from HK, i don't believe they will be honest.
Maybe is better with japanese sites, the problem is i can't pay with paypal, that could be troublesome.
