Does anybody know the sizes or the product numbers of bearings used in front/rear hub carriers (knuckles)?
I want to check if I can use them for barracuda.
Thank you in advance.

My alum. centre pully also wear quickly .....

rcruv: I think the barsings are 5x8, like std. Tamiya size. I'll check.
v12xc: On the rear tower, I have not checked that. I did drill droop screw holes in all 4 arms, so the tower makes no difference to me. You may want to try that.
You might want to try a very small dab of thread locker on the screws for the knuckle. that helps a lot.
The anti squat cant be changed unless you have a custom part made. However, you could try a front arm mount on the rear. The front is identical except for the abscence of toe in. No inboard toe in means no arm sweep, and this should free up the car a lot.
What's your setup? Maybe there's something there you could use to get more steering.

I ran my Atlas YM34 for the first time yesterday. I am normally a full time 200mm gas driver and it was set up for my by a friend. Wow I was instantly on the pace of stock class using a Green Machine 3 motor and 2000 cells. This car has unlimited steering and just keeps incredible corner speed. I was actually using some worn rubber tires and cornering as fast as guys on foams. Amazing car and great setup, thanks Manticore

I'm using Type T, hpi R35 or Sorex 36R.
I wonder if the new type S, carry adjustable antisquat ?
I think ym34 is more adjustable than type T, dun no about Type S.
Robk :
Using 20wt oil won't creat body roll?

v12xc: I think the light oil lets the car roll a bit more, but I have been running it at like 6.5mm ride, and i have no problems with scraping. The type T has more pack in the shocks due to the new pistons, so it seems like the light oil works. I had run 60 wt oil with the older verson Ym34, and had good results. It did not work out so well with even 45wt with the type t. Maybe as I have more time on asphalt i will find out differently, but fr now, I am following Arthur's advice as he knows better than me. BTW Patt T of Team Integy 3rd place in spec class at the Reedy race. good Job!
