I see some stuff that needs to be changed. I wonder why they went with the grub screw to hold the ball end down. I'll probably use my hex ones or loctite the ends to the grub screw.

An option for "normal" shocks up front would be nice. Otherwise, it's a pretty interesting way of getting the battery down the middle and keeping it 4WD without going the Type-R route. It could be a really fun project car, especially as the hopups start hitting the market.
I love how so many armchair engineers here can tell just by looking how heavy it is, how well it will handle and how good of a race car it will be—just by looking at it. I'm thoroughly impressed at the level of skill and experience shown in just a glance at a photo.
I'm also betting that every time a company releases a car that looks like an Xray, you're also the first people to post, "It looks like everything else out there already!"
I love the outside-the-box thinking, as usual, by Tamiya. I don't care what anyone thinks it weighs by looking at the photo, I'm interested in getting one, for sure. I love my JRXS Type Rs and this pushes those ideas to the next level. I can't wait to see more of it.

+1, +1 and +1. Precisely what I was thinking.
The more I look at it, the more I want one...

I think they do that so that you can very the depth of the screw portion depending on what spacer you using up top for a roll center adjustment. On my cars I replace those with the hexhead balls too. I do need to have a couple with different lengths of hex balls handy as avoid driving that screw into the drive cups (think shallow or no spacers at all).
As for the IFS shock mounting, hex balls would be the only way I would mount those (but again spacers would be needed to maintan spec clearances between the shock bodies and the chassis).

Local hobby shop got these in! EDIT - It seems Gordie88 already let you know...
They look really nice. Should be some out at the TCS race this Sunday!
Can't wait to see them run.

Any of the new happy ta06 owners here willing to try and see if the rear ta06 diff fits the stock FF03 gear case please?
If anyone could test I'ld be most greatfull.

I really like the lay-out of this new car, therefor i will buy one to compare with my TRF416X. Just to see the difference in balance and handling.

My TA06 from Dynamic Hobbies is built and ready for TCS. The build went without any issues, however it is a longer build then expected. I think this car will be very good on the track.
I have some pictures but the site dosen't allow me to post links yet.
