Those gear diff units better be oil fillable. I don't want no M03 style AW grease only thing. Then again, Tamiya is releasing ball diff units as an option...

this picture recall my old hpi rs(not pro version).
[QUOTE=HarryLeeWD;8946364]Sorry for thread jacking once again, but here's some pics of the transmission.

To be honest, abit sceptical whether this is real. <insert conspiracy theory here> Only seen one site with it so far. Picture's rather blurry too, which is unlike tamiya.
Then again could be wrong. It's very much like Tamiya to release a new kit after an R kit is released. [/QUOT

Aww man. You gonna get one bro? I don't think I will as it looks over designed i.e. heavy and (imho) prob'ly would be a pain to tune - different f/r bulkheads & diffs... Tamiya, WHY?

I'm also convinced that it's true!! Imo its looks good, the Ta06 looks somewhat ( front dampers) different than what people are used to. It has the same front suspension as some other makes. But to some specialists there is also the possibility to use a normal front damperstay instead of the one shown.
I have a TA05ver2 R and I love driving it, but I will definitly get a TA 06 pro with the new GTR 35 GT1 body.

A pain to tune or over designed?? Why?? You dont know its a pain to tune. It looks fine to me!

3 pulley system in the front + 3 gear system in the back. Hard to tune two different differentials.

Maybe i'm too used to having same gearboxes front/rear. Aren't you?

Looks really balanced. Let's hope tamiya pulls it off.

Yes, I have to agree but it looks really balanced to me too. But he maybe I will be able to tell you in the near future I Tamiya pulled it off. After building a TA06.

yo bro, as a matter of fact, i'm not getting it after it released... I just got TA05 v.II R, i'm happy with it . By the way, this new chassis looks "pain" to maintain it... :P

And I read somewhere mention that Ta06 pro kit still able to configure to "normal" damper setting in the front.. But not sure if this comes in the kits.

From the experience of some long time Tamiya fans how long does it usually take for them to release after announcing things at a show. Kinda interested in one of these but even more so the Gear Diff II for the 417. Just wondering if I have enough patience to wait.
