The car was a fun build.

Look forward to shaking it down tomorrow.

Out of the gate I updated to the aluminum suspension blocks and spool. The rear gear box will be interesting.

The car is super free out of the box. No trick bearing required. I did put it on a diet bu using Ti screws. Front suspension upright.
What rims are that? They look good.

The car is already, to put it bluntly, a pig! Why add more weight to it?

Exactly. Im surprized how heavy plastic and titanium can be.

Not really on topic, but that is a strange buggy/tourer hybrid and judging by the parts on it I doubt it started life as a boxed TA-02.

That generation of cars did handle very nicely (I had a Top Force Evo) but I don't think they would match a TA-06!

Very nice. Those are very hard to come by right about now. Any idea when you can get the carbon reinforced chassis or the rocker arms?

The rocker arms are in the next batch of release from Tamiya. Unfortunately, the CF reinforced chassis is usually the last of those parts to be released. I say in about 6mo, but I hope it comes out earlier.

There will be 3 carbon conversions by the time tamiya releases it.

I backordered the rocker arms at tower hobbies. I broke too many on my IFS-R, the alum one never failed(a ball joint did, I needed to upgrade to the titanium ones.)
