They are indeed different to the older versions, i will get back for the part nr.
Today i was able to test the car with the new suspension and man what a difference, the car was super fast.
The car had lot's of corner speed and even with sorex 36 tires i had lots of grip.
I was as fast or even faster with a carsson 16T sensorless brushless motor then guys with carbon chassis cars with a 12T sensorless or a 10.5T lightly boosted motor.
I think i'm still able to gain some 0.1 or 0.2 seconds from the fastest time of today.

Hi first post.

I've nearly finished building a TA06 Pro (upgrade) with way too many tamiya hop ups (my VISA bill says so anyway)

Made me curious as to what people think their favourite hop-up (or combo of) is and why?

I'll get some photos together when it is finished. Got to mount the electrics andthe shocks to build still and that is about it.

My favorite hop-up was the carbon reinforced chassis pieces. It took a lot of the flex out of the car.

I have most of them except possibly the most important one - the lower deck.

i've got a set of the carbon barge boards coming too - bit of stiffness plus moe room for electronics!

I wish they would have put the servo on the right side like the TA06 MS.

I've already got the TRF418 suspension (including the stabilizers) mounted on my TA06 and the car runs super, lots of corner speed and grip in the rear.
Definately worth trying.

According to the TRF 418 manual and parts lists I can find, the TRF 418 suspension mounts are different than the TA05/TA06/TRF 416/TRF 417/TB03/TB04. Correct? So to use the TRF 418 arms, new suspension mounts are necessary?

suspension mounts are different but interchangeable with the older sets... so no need to get 418 suspension mounts. the ones off the 418 are just slightly redesigned for weight and strength
