Does anyone make alloy stiffeners that have a notch already in them for fitting a brushless motor with the terminals coming out of the top rear of the case?

It was actually a good fit no mayor problems as far as the motor wires coming from the top or being to short. I'll upload pictures when I get on a computer.

in my quest to order parts, I have two items that are doubles, therefore selling them, tech racing direct center aluminum pulleys, these can be mounted without the e clips and looks so clean, and tech racing aluminum spur gear holder with intergrated gear, again looks super clean, selling both parts for 50 shipped anywhere, cost me around 75, please look at my for sale thread, for pictures thanks

The new MS chassis looks awesome! I was set on the ta06 pro but now cant decide if I want the ms aaaaaaagh!

I here people saying that the ta06 pro is heavy, is this in comparison to carbon fibre cars only or to plastic cars like the ta05v.2 also?

Aiming for under 1400 grams all up with the pro if its possible. Maybe a shorty Lipo will help me achieve that

Mine weights lower then 1400gr, it all comes down to what body, battery, electronics and parts you are using. When i drove the car with a brushed motor/esc combo the weight was about 1250gr. A lightweight body and a short lipo will get you in the right weight direction

tech racing aluminum spur gear holder with aluminum gear
tech racing aluminum center pulley system direct drive, elimanates the e clips and looks super clean

thanks Addicted2blue

I was planning on getting the Hobbywing Xerun 120a V2.1 cause it can do everything but it weighs 105g and is pretty large too 43mmx36mm can it fit, I wonder

There's also the XTREME esc which is a lighter version of the 60a xerun i believe (46 grams). That's more like it, though the xerun 120a is only $20 more....decsions

I will definetely need a shorty pack at least

I was using a tamiya NSX 2005 light weight body set, battery was a short type and the electronics are tamiya volac esc, low profile servo servo. And of course all the carbon & carbon reinforced parts, titanium&alu screws and TRF417 diff outdrives (they are much lighter then the standard steal ones) also a carbon shaft for the idler gear in the gear box. You can also use some light weight swing shafts for the universals but this can only be used with low powered motors such as 21.5T or 17.5T motors with blinky mode. Just check the swing shaft protections on regular base. and there are some other small things you can do to save weight, but that will rase the amount of money you put into it.

I've got the Xtreme stock esc installed now on my TA06 and it works great. If you are not going to use a modified motor then the Xtreme stock esc is more then enough.

Does the conversion work if I us the conventional stand up suspension setup in the front?
