Weight of the TA06 with Tekin FX Pro ESC, Reedy WolfPack 3000 Mah Lipo (#730), Savox SC-1257 Servo, Tamiya Sport Tuned motor, and Futaba RX is only 1.211 kg.

Thanks for this useful information, I'll run my still-to-be-delivered TA06 at 1350 g weight limit without problem !

Thanks for the info. So with the body it will be about 1310g. How much does your batt weigh? Gonna see how much it will approx weigh with my 5000s.

My TP 5000mah is 296 so I have to add another 117g. So with the body and other stuff, the car will be about 1420 race ready... even with Ti/alum screws, I'll barely make under 1400g. 50g handicap is kinda steep in 17.5 boosted.

Wow, that's light ...
Actually, the chassis will need more than only the titanium screw kit to achieve a 1350 g rolling weight ...
Perhaps rear and front CF shock tower, I may ask a friend for that, he's gifted for CF cutting !

TCS in Canada does not have the 1350g minimum weight and the Reedy Wolfpack 3000 is one of only two legal battery that we can use.

You guys are making a big deal out of nothing. If your running boosting, if the car was at 1500 grams. Your lap times would still be the same. Run a ta04 if your that concerned about weight. Quit stressing over crap like women do.

do, and

Take this from a guy who has the Balls to still run a 414m2 at the Reedy Race of Champions and almost win the class he ran in!

ah yes, women stress over stuff that doesn't make sense. But for me, I dropped 0.4 sec on average when I went from 1450 to 1350, so every bit counts. Running a plastic car among CF cars is challenging and fun, especially with a crowd where the cars all look alike.

btw, the new issue of RC World mentioned to use 100k oil for the front gear diff. Seems Tamiya is releasing their own too.

The TRF414 m2 is still an awesome car. I recently ran mine and my lap times were easily within range of my 417. It was modded over time with the lw bulkheads etc but it's a great car once you find the right set-up.

I can't justify the 06pro but it looks great.. If it proves itself you might find the 418 with a central battery

Hi guys,

I am new here and i would like to know some thing from the TA06 pro.
the battery compartment and if we are going to use those hard casing lipo battery and the cables are those with banana plugs, are we still able to use it?

2nd thing is the battery cover, required 4 screws to open up? and do we have to open and close whenever need to access to the batt? doing that may cause the screw hold become loose.

please advice.
