Default Can someone explain charging rates?

As the title says, can someone actually explain battery charging rates.

E.g. how much maH per hour would a charger, charging at 1, 2 or 4 amps charge. Just so i can clock how long it would take to charge either of my batteries. (one is 1600, the other 4000).

Simply 4 Amps will charge a 4000 Mah batt in an hour, your 1600 Mah batt will take 1.6 hours to charge at 1 Amp... So 1600 Mah is 1.6 Ah etc.
