6 cells @ around 9.3V

I really don't go by what the charger has declared peak since it varies too much. I go by the "race" voltage which in many cases is between 1.39V to 1.44V per cell after disconnect from charger. So a good pack for me would have about 8.6V before I set it on the track. The charger peak value will always be higher since in order to charger a battery it needs to create a higher potential to push powre into the cells. The higher the charge rate in amps the higher the chargers peak voltage will be to create that push.

charging peak: 1.67 per cell
no-load peak: 1.38 per cell

so basically, this is 10.02v on the charger for a 6 cell pack, and 8.28v when measured with a voltmeter straight off the charger.

hope this helped

thanks again for the replies. what im doin is making some of my 6 cell packs 5 cell. just wanted to kno what to look for when i cycle the 5 cells. i just take out the cell that consistantly 'dumps' first on the DPD. mainly making some packs for pratice but i just incase they are good for racing i wanted to know what to look for.

my packs are usually around 8.6 after peak.

With todays cells for 6cell sedan classes, i dont look at runtime or really how much milliamp going into the pack, I keep track of the peak and no-load voltages.

The peak voltage is just how much voltage was needed to push the amperage past the resistance of the cell. A higher peak voltage just shows that that pack has more resistance than a pack with a lower peak voltage.
