2011 USVTA Southern Nationals is complete

thanks to all the racers for coming to Thunder RC Raceway in Nashville, TN

without you I wouldn't of had so much fun calling the races this weekend.

I hope everybody made it back home safe and had a great time.

We had a great weekend at the Southern Nats,Just want to thank evryone for puting on a great show. VTA IS A BLAST.I hope we can get as many VTA racers at the Halloween Classic at THE GATE next month. Drove all night to get back in Cleveland at 4am......WOW am I BEAT.....Its a good thing Im at work so that I can get some rest.....

Hey all of you VTA drivers and NASCAR fans, if you live within a day's driving distance of Dallas, Texas (or if you are willing to fly to Dallas) then I have the perfect race for all of you to attend. See the flyer below...

In addition to a regular VTA race on the technical track, we will have a NASCAR-style VTA race on the oval track. All of the same rules for U.S. VTA apply to the VTA class in this race with exception for the bodies. We want people to put NASCAR-painted Stock Car Bodies on their VTA's and we are going to race on a carpet oval.

Huge thanks to Myron and the crew at Thunder for their efforts at the USVTA Southern Nationals this weekend. EVERYTHING done to put out word for this race and put this weekend on was spectacular, my dad and I had a blast.

I can't wait for next year's USVTA Southern Nationals, its a must attend event!

Cant say enough about how much fun the 2011 USVTA Southern Nationals was. All I needed to make it better was a better driver for my car lol. Thanks Myron, Robert and all the sponsors for making such a great event.

Hey Eric its Bryan, I just wanted to thank you for all your help this weekend. RJ keep up the good work and listen to your Dad cause he has a TON of knowledge to offer you. With out your help i would have never seen a 13.7 sec lap or given the winner of the C- main a run for his money. I couldnt have pitted next to more generous ppl than you guys!!

Myron and your entire crew. Looks like you folks did a stellar job with the VTA Southern Nats. It wasn't in the cards for me to make this one but all the great pics and vids are making me feel like I was there. Obviously it appears everyone had a great time and there was some great racing.
I'll be looking to to see most of this group at the Snowbird Nationals !!!
Anybody have a vid of the awards presentations ??? I'm still looking at stuff so it might already be there but if you know where it's at point me to it.
I'm glad our club along with Phil's Hobby Shop could help support the event and help out a few racers who already have a lot invested in VTA or USGT.

My cameras were both exhausted by the time the awards were presented. I do know that April Brooks took bunches of pictures. Not sure her web site address. maybe brooksphotography.com something along that line. Monkey knows for sure.
