I think thats just the beginning of what VTA can and will be.....I would love to see this type of racing at every National Level Race....hint hint...

Q is always fast and that is the point in this class, that with all the adv crap out there, you run the same/similar equipment and you bring the racing closer together...glad the move was made...

I was running a Corally PHI with the Novak Havoc 2S and SS 25.5 with an FDR of 3.4 with a 2 year old Hurricane IP 5000.

Q was running his Photon with a GTB and Ballistic, I don't know what he had ended up for FDR or battery.
i would like to ask Q some ?'s about the us spec photon just dont think he remembers me

no heat issues w/3.4fdr?

Trust me, they were dog turd slow. I was shocked when I saw the video as they looked much faster on the screen. I think they are a good speed for the class, but they were anything but fast.

I had been right around 120's most of the weekend until rd 3, my son checked the temp with someone else's temp gauge and he said it was 170, so I put a fan on it just to be safe.

your right about the speed...i thought something was wrong with my motor...it was so slow...but when you got a whole heat full of slow cars you cant tell the difference

I'm thinking of building a VTA car. What is a good chassis to start with?

i have 2 hpi sprints with the camaro body on them and out of the box, they r great!!
the reason i got the cars was because they r cheap in cost, come as rtr, u can hop them up for a low price, and they r still being produced. with a 22 pinnion and 87 spur ur the same speed as a 21.5 motor with a 5000 lipo. and the stock speed control and motor will run cool with the lipo. my temps was 115 on speed control and 120 on the motor.

That's perfect. I have a sprint 2 drifter, I'll just convert that
