I believe the rule set reads so long as it has a head and shoulders its good.

I will say interestingly I got called out because my driver was sitting to low and slightly back in the car Oh yea and was driving on the right hand side of the car. Also not in the rules.

I just had the idea as that the only car I would use for VTA is a Losi JRXS-R, the servo is mounted in such a way that I could make a soft doll figure look like they are actually holding the steering and steering when the servo turns.

Sorry I missed seeing you there. Money issues and the passing of my Father In Law made it impossible. Next Year though. Or maybe sooner if the right event comes up.
VTA seems to be on a upswing. I hope the additional exposure at the Bird's helped.
Funny thing is I ran at our local hobby town this weekend. Beet a 15t brushed motor and a flux to win the race. (hate Hobby towns exception rules). I am running a Mi1 with the 160 buck novak combo. Love the car so far. Almost fully legal. I was running a 5200Mah 2cell lipo. still no driver as of yet. have that on order as well as a new camaro (hoping USVTA accepts the New HPI trans am) body. I am preping for snowbirds next year. I can not wait :P

as far as Dave goes...he is 1-0 against me....maybe he will try and improve to 2-0 at the Scale Nationals in IL, come April...or maybe fall to 1-1..lol...

JK, Im very happy to come in 2nd against him...he is a top level driver and good dude...but I bet he want get another text to come race...LOL...cya soon USVTA 2x Champion(Southern Nationals & Snowbirds Nationals)...go for the 3....
Just to rub it in, I am currently 1-0 over Dave in VTA. However I am 0 - 10000000 in all other classes vs. Dave.

I seem to recall a post where a man claimed that at his track, you were allowed to race VTA without a driver figure but only if you wore an article of ladies underwear on your head during the race.... it's funny as long as its not you.

I'm looking for an XRay T2 007 to use for Vintage. If anyone is looking to get rid of one, let me know.
