Thats what a friend of mine is trying to find, spur gears. Is there a retailer online that still carries parts for the car?

I emailed them (no 'buy it now button'), no response. I think they are all gone.

I purchased two 86 tooth 48 pitch spurs from Losi Parts House. There are a bunch on ebay. Lucky for me, this car has an enclosed drivetrain and isn't hard on spurs.

Cool, thanks guys! Hopefully we can keep this guy racing. He's USAF and often gets sent to Timbuktu for weeks or months at a time. So it can be tough for him to keep racing. Every little bit helps, thanks again guys.

Default smacktalk for SEVTA CHAMPS

Its almost time! And I can't wait to get to Georgia to race for the SEVTA CHAMPS!! I'm bringing that trophy back to Tennessee.

The rest of you can come to Thunder Jam in January to try and win it back. Cya

Default Protoform P71 "reinforcement"

I gather from doing a search on this thread I should line the inside of the headlight buckets, the leading edge of the spoiler, and the corners of the back bumper with Shoe Goo. Anything else I missed?

And how do you go about putting drywall tape on the front spoiler?

The body has a pointer in the front grill cut line saying "shoe goo flange". Is the hot ticket to bond the nose to the body (using screws to hold it down while it flashes off) or do you actually reinforce the flange?

I reinforce all our VTA bodies with Shoe goo and drywall tape similar to this.

http://www.lowes.com/pd_69708-76765-...7C0&facetInfo=

After I mold that into the nose of the body I take shoe good and smear it all through the tape. Ends up hard as a rock. I also use small pieces and shoe goo on parts that have to be attached to body, like the mustang rear ends and I would assume it would work for the Javelin.

Thanks. I know this tech is buried in this thread somewhere, but the search function is all wonky (the threads that show up in the search aren't linking - when you click them it takes you to....something else ) and I can't read the whole thing to look for it.

Sodano moved the date, so yes I WILL get another shot at a sLobird in VTA! So you can tech me there, and I'll tech you the following weekend in Orlando. Deal?

We did a NASCAR tribute race at Mikes today. VTA with Stock car bodies. 15 entries. One oval track. At the same time. Mayhem, chaos, and so so much fun.
