OK, what part of the country has the biggest USVTA scene? With the new Protoform and HPI bodies out I may have to quit my job and relocate my family to someplace where I can use them.

Doug,
Since you have the early scoop, will the 6mm offset, 31mm VTA required rear wheels/tires fit this body?

Yes, from my information, nothing is different from any other VTA body on this and the Protoform Javelin.

Love the HPI Stang, beats what I'm currently running. I just ordered a Javelin, now I need to go back to the hobby shop and order this.

random thought...HPI..could look into making premounts for vta class...it could just be basic white or black...for those that dont like mounting them up...(like me)

Marty--that's a 200mm nitro chassis under the body. They probably had to use the front wheel on the rear due to the wider chassis.

Funny thing is that HPI DOES sell pre-mounted vintage tires on some of their RTR kits. So it is not like they don't already have someone gluing up wheels somewhere.

I just want to thanks all the VTA racers that came to Indy to R/CAR race...I really had a goos time and learned some new things in the process....Great racing with you guys and gals...love the chance to race with you again at the Enduro here in Nashville or the USVTA Scale Nats in April....

Glad to put some faces to the internet...lol...great group as always...

thanks again to the Indy crew and for putting on such a very fun and exciting event...the facility is top notch and if any of you get a chance to come by for some racing, you will return again and again...at least I will...

thanks,
Myron Battman Kinnard aka Darkside

Myron,
Glad to meet you at R/Car this weekend. You raced well and I'd be glad to do so again with you.

I just joined this forum when I found this thread. It looks really interesting and I would like to get into this.
I've got a Tamyia Cobra R Mustang TA02 that I'm restoring now and I plan on getting a HPI Sprint 2 Flux in the next few weeks if we can.

That new HPI 1970 Mustang and Protoform '71 Javelin body look great and I just pre ordered them through my local hobby shop today. Well, at least he will pre order the '70 when it comes up for that.
