PRS (Precision racing systems) has almost any size and pitch pinion or spur you would ever need.

I am running and xray 008/9 with a 25.5 and looking for a tips on the spur I should run and still have access to the motor screw. Target final ratio is in the range of 3.5 - 3.8 with a transmission ratio of 1.7.

Xray offers a 92, that would leave me running a pinion between 45 and 41. I am not sure it will fit/reach.

Xray also offers a 96 that would leave me running pinions between 43 and 47. Not sure if a 47 will fit?

RW offers any possible size all the way down to whatever, but even with the holes I don't think I will be able to get the motor screws in.

Thoughts?

Man I have something going on on Sunday and can't race this Sunday. Can I come up on Saturday and tune my T3 2011?

I run a Xray T1Fk05, 96 tooth spur, 43 pinion 64 pitch gears same transmission ratio of 1.7. It gives me a FDR of 3.79 and after a 8 minute run it came off at 131 degrees, track is 40'x90'. I could have put a 50 tooth pinion in and still had access to the motor screws.

Default VTA in Nashville

Are the pro drivers not racing VTA this year? I noticed you said Myron is banned from VTA? Am I banned too?

Default Sandbaggin

It's not sandbagging. It's saving the best for last!
